My Approach

When it comes to photography, I have a simple approach. I strive to capture those fleeting moments before they slip away, preserving their timeless beauty. Like someone who holds onto an aging delicate house and makes it a cherished home.

I adore homes that have character, you know, the kind where every creak beneath your feet feels like the house itself is singing. It's just like us, really. We've gone through some remodeling in our lives, had to dim our light or tried to fit into a mold, but if we dig deep into our cores, we'll find that all we truly desire is to break free. To let go of all expectations and constraints, and just be authentically ourselves.

Forget about imperfections and any worries, and instead, embrace yourselves wholeheartedly in front of your loved ones. Trust me, when you let go and show your vulnerable side, pure magic is bound to happen.

Darby has been phenomenal to work with. Last summer she shot our engagement photos, which turned out far better than we could have hoped for. We absolutely love them and have had such a hard time trying to narrow down which ones to use because she was able to capture so many amazing moments.

This weekend we were suppose to get married but unfortunately had to postpone due to COVID-19. Darby has been extremely flexible as we try and figure out what our wedding would look like and when it would be. However, we do know that no matter when/what we do, we want Darby to be part of our big day. She is the only vendor we will be planning our date around to make sure she is available!
